🔥Communal Fire Pits Guidelines

Welcome to the Culdesac Tempe communal fire pits!

Fire pit hours of operation: 6am - 10 pm Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun

Instructions for use:

  1. Turn on gas past ‘Turn Past’ indicator. This will stay on while the fire is lit.
  2. Turn on ignition past ‘Turn Past’ indicator.
    Note: The gas dial is on the left and the ignition dial is on right in the below photo.
  3. You’ll hear the ignition clicking when it’s activating, and the gas will ignite when it catches. Step back for the fire to catch, then enjoy!
  4. Turn the gas knob counterclockwise to turn off the gas before leaving. The ignition knob cannot be turned counterclockwise.

Please adhere to the following rules and guidelines when using the fire pits:

  1. Age Requirement: Users of the communal fire pits must be 18 years of age or older. Minors are not allowed to operate or be near the fire pits without adult supervision.
  2. Supervision of Children: All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult while in the vicinity of the fire pits. Safety is our top priority, and it's important to keep a watchful eye on young ones.
  3. First Come, First Served: The fire pits are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be considerate of other residents and limit your use to a reasonable timeframe, especially during peak hours.
  4. No Food or Cooking: The communal fire pits are for recreational use only. Please refrain from using them for cooking or grilling food. This helps prevent fire hazards and keeps the area clean.
  5. Fire Safety: Ensure that the fire is contained within the designated pit and use only the provided approved fire-starting materials. Do not leave the fire unattended, and always fully extinguish the fire before leaving. Keep a fire extinguisher or bucket of sand nearby for safety purposes.
  6. Respectful Behavior: Maintain a respectful and peaceful atmosphere. Loud music, excessive noise, or disruptive behavior is not allowed. Use respectful language and be considerate of other residents using the area.
  7. Cleanup and Trash: Please clean up after yourself and dispose of any trash or litter in the provided receptacles. If you notice any issues with the fire pit area, such as broken equipment or safety concerns, report them to the management promptly.
  8. Alcohol and Smoking: Alcohol consumption is allowed at the fire pits for residents of legal drinking age; no glass containers. Please drink responsibly. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property to reduce the risk of fire and to maintain air quality.
  9. Emergency Procedures: Familiarize yourself with the location of emergency exits and fire safety equipment. In case of an emergency, call 911 immediately and inform on-site staff.
  10. Respect Community Hours: Be mindful of community quiet hours and restrictions on fire pit use during certain times to respect your neighbors' need for peace and quiet.

Failure to adhere to these rules and guidelines may result in the loss of privileges to use the communal fire pits. We encourage all residents to enjoy this communal amenity safely and respectfully.

Management reserves the right to update these rules and guidelines as needed for the safety and well-being of all residents.
