🚮 Trash & recycling

Please take note of the trash and recycling information to ensure you dispose of your waste properly.

Courtyard pod buildings - 2016, 2020, 2026

Apartments located in the courtyard pods have large trash and recycling bins located in the trash enclosures in the pod.

You are responsible for providing your own trash bins for your apartment homes.

Please dispose of your bagged trash in the trash bin.

Please do not bag recyclables – dispose of them loose in the large recycling bin.

The Market and Hub buildings

The Market and Hub buildings have valet trash service provided by Apex Valet Trash. Please follow these tips for Apex trash.

  • Place bagged trash in the provided waste containers in the apartment.
  • All recycling must go in a blue recycling bag. You can pick up more blue bags from the leasing office.
  • Leave your container outside the door of your apartment Sunday through Thursday between 6 pm and 8 pm. Apex Valet Trash will collect your trash overnight. Please bring your container back inside your unit by 9 am the next morning.

Leaving trash outside of your apartment during non-designated trash pick-up times is a community violation and you may be fined. If you need to dispose of trash outside of Apex pick-up times you may do so using the trash bins by the trash compactor in the parking lot.

Apex Valet Trash accepts bagged trash, collapsed cardboard, and bagged recyclables. Check out this explainer to learn more:

Large item disposal

If you have large items, such as furniture, to dispose of, please call or text us at (480) 210-6004 to request a bulk trash item removal. A third party vendor will be hired for this type of trash removal and you will be responsible for any payment.

The leasing office will schedule a pick-up day and time for bulk items upon receiving a resident request. Once established, you can bring your bulk items to the designated areas on site for pickup.

Alternatively, you can use Lugg to haul away bulky items. Please see the Lugg website for more details. Don’t forget to use promo code CULDESAC10 for $10 off your Lugg booking!

Hazardous Materials

The disposal of hazardous materials, such as ebike batteries, in our waste bins is strictly prohibited. These materials can be harmful to the environment and pose a risk to our community.

Instead, we encourage you to bring these materials to the Household Product Collections Center, located on University Dr and Dorsey Ln, where they can be safely disposed of. Visit their website for more details about hours of operation and accepted materials.
