Wi-Fi and Ethernet

Our Wi-Fi is provided by White Sky Internet. You will have both wireless and wired internet access in your unit, and you also have access community-wide*. White Sky offers speeds of up to 940 mbps to 1 gig for wired connections and 300 mbps to 1 gig for wireless connections, depending on location and your device’s hardware. Wi-Fi is included in your monthly invoice.

To access Culdesac resident Wi-Fi, you will connect to the network labeled WhiteSky-CuldesacResidents. Your password is unique to your unit and will be provided at move in.

• To connect to the Wi-Fi, search for your network in the Wi-Fi menu on your device, select WhiteSky-CuldesacResidents, and enter the unique password given to your unit at move-in.
• To use a wired internet connection, use an ethernet cable to plug directly into a port available in your unit.

There is also a guest network called CuldesacGuest, that is open to the public, albeit at a slower speed.

*Whitesky is a managed wifi network, meaning that instead of having a router in your unit, there are access points in your unit and across the community. Also note that the speeds listed are for your unit, but speeds community wide may vary. Also, please let us know if there is a dead spot.

Other utilities

Other utilities included in your monthly invoice include electricity, trash, and water and sewer. No action is required to set this up. All such utilities will be included automatically. 

In-unit thermostat

In your unit there is a touchscreen Honeywell Lyric T6 Pro (user manual) or non-touchscreen Honeywell T4 Pro (user manual) programmable thermostat. Refer to the user guide to learn all about the features, compatibility, programming, and more.

Non-touchscreen thermostat:

1. Press and hold the "Menu" and "+" buttons until you see "ISU" at the top of the screen
2. Press "Select." The top number should read "120"
3. Press "+" until you reach your desired setting indicated by the lower, bolder number
   1. 0: non-programmable
   2. 2: programmable; different weekday and weekend schedules
   3. 3: programmable; different weekday, Saturday, and Sunday schedules
   4. 4: programmable; different schedule every day
4. Press "Home"
5. You can now edit the programming by pressing "Menu," then "+," then "Select" when you see "PROG" at the top of the screen

Touchscreen thermostat:

1. Tap and hold "Menu" until you see the setup menu, then tap "Device Setup"
2. Tap "No Schedule," then scroll and tap your desired option (see a-d above)
3. Tap "Back" twice
4. You can now edit the programming by tapping "Menu" then "Schedule"
